Mary Kaye has been a certified hand therapist since 1991, the inaugural year for certification of hand therapists. She established Northbrook Hand Therapy in 1986. Mary Kaye is passionate about hand therapy, and delivers quality care to all her patients. She helps each person in their unique way to regain function after injury. She keeps up with current education and trends in the field. Fabricating custom thermoplastic splints for post-injury and post-surgery is her specialty. She uses a variety of splinting materials and techniques to achieve specific goals: post surgery protection, join implants, fracture care, and arthritic joint support. Mary Kaye is married to Ken (below), with four children. She enjoys spending time with her family, and outdoor activities. She enjoys staying active and loves to hike, bike, and swim.
